Immigration and Residency Act

Recognizing the need to preserve and strengthen our identity, economic resilience, and social cohesion, this Immigration and Residency Act establishes a comprehensive policy for managing entry, residency, and integration. This Act prioritizes the well-being of the community and ensures that all who seek to join Freeport align with our values, which include harmony with nature, respect for growth, and the interconnectedness of all life, and contribute to its collective progress. Through controlled and purpose-driven immigration policies, Freeport aims to secure its future as a unified and prosperous society.

Part I: Entry and Immigration

1. Principles of Entry

Immigration is to be managed to align with the needs and aspirations of the community. Entry will be granted to those who demonstrate their ability to contribute to the collective welfare, cultural unity, economic advancement, and sustainable development of Freeport.

 

2. Categories of Entry

Foreign nationals may apply for entry under the following categories:

  1. Cultural Contributor Entry: For individuals who bring expertise in cultural, artistic, or academic fields that align with Freeport’s values.

    • Applicants must demonstrate their commitment to upholding Freeport’s cultural heritage and ecological principles.

 

  1. Economic Contributor Entry: For investors and entrepreneurs who directly support Freeport’s economic growth in sustainable and environmentally conscious ways.

    • A minimum investment of 100 Monero for the infrastructure is required.

 

  1. Solidarity Entry: For individuals fleeing persecution who demonstrate alignment with Freeport’s ideological principles and express a commitment to the collective good and environmental stewardship.

    • Applications will be assessed on their ability to integrate and contribute meaningfully to our society.



3. Entry Requirements

All applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Ideological Alignment: A oath of alligence to Freeport’s principles and values, including harmony with nature and collective welfare.

  • Background and Security Clearance: Comprehensive vetting to ensure no history of criminal activity or affiliation with groups opposing Freeport’s ideals.

  • Demonstrated Contribution: Evidence of the applicant’s ability to enhance Freeport’s society, economy, or ecological initiatives.

 

4. Entry Validity and Oversight

  • Entry will be allowed for specific durations, ranging from 1 to 5 years, depending on the category and contribution.

  • The Administration will regularly review all entry access to ensure compliance and sustained alignment with our goals.

 

Part II: Residency and Integration

5. Temporary Residency

Temporary residency will be granted to approved entrants, subject to periodic review and renewal. Temporary residents must:

  • Adhere to the membership contract, laws and values.

  • Actively contribute to the community and economy.

  • Participate in mandatory orientation emphasizing interconnectedness and sustainable living.

 

6. Pathway to Permanent Residency

Permanent residency may be granted to those who:

  • Have resided in Freeport for at least 1 consecutive year under a temporary permit.

  • Demonstrate unwavering commitment to Freeport’s principles.

  • Pass a comprehensive assessment of their contributions to the community, economy, and environmental sustainability.

 

7. Responsibilities of Residents

Permanent residents are expected to:

  • Actively engage in community-building and environmental restoration initiatives.

  • Abide by Freeport’s legal, moral, and ecological standards.

 

Part III: Border Protection and Security

8. National Border Strategy

To protect Freeport’s sovereignty and ensure the integrity of our immigration system, robust measures will be implemented, including:

  • Advanced surveillance systems at all entry points.

  • Regular patrols and inspections to prevent unauthorized entry.

  • Collaboration with allied entities to address external threats to national security.

 

9. Addressing Violations

Individuals who violate immigration laws will face:

  • Immediate deportation and permanent bans for severe breaches.

  • Rehabilitation programs for minor infractions to encourage alignment with Freeport’s values.

  • Criminal prosecution for deliberate acts against the state.

 

Part IV: Economic and Social Contributions

10. Recognition of Excellence

Foreign nationals and residents who make exceptional contributions to Freeport’s prosperity, unity, and sustainability will be honored with:

  • Expedited pathways to membership and/or residancy.

  • Public acknowledgment of their service to the state.

 

11. Integration Programs

The Administration will provide:

  • Courses to instill pride and understanding of Freeport’s heritage and environmental ethos.

  • Mentorship opportunities to support successful integration.

  • Community service initiatives as a means of fostering bonds between newcomers and members.

 

Part V: Oversight

12. Immigration Authority

The Administration will oversee the implementation of this Act, with responsibilities including:

  • Reviewing applications for compliance with national priorities.

  • Monitoring the integration and contributions of residents.

  • Advising the public on updates to immigration policies based on evolving needs.

 

13. Accountability and Reporting

  • Annual reports will outline the impacts of immigration policies on Freeport’s unity, prosperity, and ecological balance.

 

Enactment and Review

This Act shall take effect January 1st 2025. Its provisions will be reviewed every 5 years to ensure alignment with the evolving needs and goals.
